This Guideline sets out to explain the forms of e-commerce, what is driving its adoption, and what the key issues surrounding it are. Along the way, we hope to explain why only 16 per cent of respondents to the latest NCC Survey of IT Users said they had been involved in an e-commerce project, and whether that's a more realistic indicator of the importance of e-commerce than you will get from most other sources.
