Wireless PCs, laptops and other devices, such as PDAs and mobile phones are now increasingly used in both the business and home environment. The reasons for this new trend are simply that wireless computers are easy to deploy, cheap and are usually easier to manage than standard wired connections.
Wireless devices can be added without the difficulty and cost incurred with hard wiring. In the business world, smaller companies find that wireless computing frees them from the conventional restrictions of cabling, enabling the whole office space to become much more flexible and easy to rearrange.
Employees enjoy enhanced functionality; they can still connect to the Internet, send and receive emails, and do all tasks they need to do. Moreover, they can do all this with greatly increased mobility. It's a very attractive proposition.
