This Guide is not formal legal advice, but instead aims to empower business managers responsible for ICT-based projects with business intelligence on how to implement freedom of information legislation across their organisation's business activities.

The main focus will be on the more comprehensive legislation - the practical application of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000. Secondly, the role and liabilities under the FOIA.
