Benchmark of Salaries and Employment Trends in IT 2006
The Benchmark of Salaries and Employment Trends in IT 2006 is based on an annual survey of the IT labour market carried out by NCC from July to September 2005. It provides a comphrehensive analysis of IT salary levels, and IT employment trends in the UK including:
- IT salary increases
- Fringe benefits and bonus payments
- Shift working, callout and standby schemes
- IT staff joining and leaving
- IT staff shortages and predicted growth in demand
- New IT skills requirements and recruitment/retention problems
The main analysis variables used are: industry sector, geographical region and IT department size.
The results are based on responses from 383 organisations in the UK who between them provide salary and employment details for over 9,300 IT staff.
