Overview
Modern business organisations are increasingly dependent on information systems
and technology. In order to deliver effective solutions to business needs, it
is vital that IT developers have an understanding of the way in which typical
businesses operate. This course provides an understanding of common business functions,
how management information can assist in planning and control of organisations
and the role played in business by IT systems.
Course Objectives

successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to:

Professional Qualification
This
course is one of an integrated set of courses leading to the widely respected
British Computer Society Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Diploma
in Business Analysis.
Optional Examination
An optional examination
can be taken at the end of the course.
The examination consists of 15 minutes
reading time followed by a one-hour 'open book' written examination based upon
a business scenario. The examination is charged for separately. Successful candidates
