ITIL Problem Management Practitioner
ITIL Problem Management Practitioner on NCC Three-day course

Overview
This three-day course builds on the general principles, covered as part of the ITIL® Foundation course (SMEV3 & SME). It provides practical guidance on the design, implementation and integration of an ITIL®-based Problem Management Process, within the context of an organisation’s overall business-focussed services framework.

Pre-Requisites
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:

  • Delegates should have at least one year of relevant IT experience and should have attained the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Target Audience
This course is aimed at IT practitioners who wish to gain practical experience in the field of Problem Management, or who wish to extend their range of understanding of the subject.

Objectives

  • Understand the planning and implementation of a comprehensive Problem Management process that is both reactive and proactive
  • Be prepared for the ISEB Practitioner qualification

Certification
Recommended as preparation for exam(s):
The course forms part of the ISEB’s Practitioner qualification programme. The qualification is based on a combination of in-course assessment and multiple choice examination taken at the end of the course. Successful delegates will be awarded the ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Problem Management. Additional exam fee for 2008 of £125.00 will be applied.
